So 2 speeder bike minis gives you impact 2 on your attack
does cover stack in the same way or is It stuck at cover 1?

Cover 1. Impact is on the WEAPON, and multiple mini's adding their WEAPONS will multiply the weapon and it's dice and keywords. Cover 1 is on the base unit card, which does not multiply.
Yea that's what I thought, good to know we played it right ![]()
If a unit has 2 different ranged.weapons but some of the target unit's figures are out of range for one weapon, how do you know which figures to remove? Or do you separate the dice po at that point?
Say you're going to split fire - make one attack pool for each weapon - roll 1 for one enemy roll the other weapon's pool for another enemy.
Does it matter if some of a units minis are out of range? Do you only have to have at least one mini to contribute to an attack pool? Then LOS dictates which miniatures can be hit and killed after the attack is completed?
I'm pretty sure range is always determined by the squad leader, regardless of who is firing at what in the squad.

Correct

It's irrelevant being out of rang does not prevent a model from being an eligible casualty, only being out of LoS does and both are only checked from the attacking unit leader.
This is for keeping the game from getting needlessly bogged down
You can increase your Cover by running behind terrain. So Cover 1 hiding behind light cover will give Cover 2.
The same applies to troopers. If they have a suppression token and are behind light cover, they will have the benefit of Cover 2, aka Heavy Cover.
I think those are the only cases where you can have Cover increase.

Yes and no. Range is measured from the base of the attacking unit leader to the base of the closest mini in the defending unit. (L2P p. 13, "Declare Defender")

So the squad leader could be in range of 1 figure and his heavy weapon figure in his unit would have range to all of the enemy unit. If all the unit's figures shoot at the same target, how many can die? DT19 can kill 2, all ther stormtroopers blasters can kill 1 max?

I don't know how we got here, but 1 hit only equals one wound.

The only restrictions are minis contributing to the attack pool must have Line of Sight to the target unit, even though range is only dependant on the unit leader being within range of nearest mini and the second is wounds can only be assigned to minis the attacking unit has Line of Sight to.
