Scout camp question

By Kako K., in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hi,

i have problems understanding the scout camp rules. It sais if you search your deck for some cards you can search it for another one. Now there are two possibilities to read this card imo.

1. for example, if you´re allowed to search the top 5 cards for one support card, you can search 6 cards instead, but still only gain one support card.

2. or, you still can only search the 5 cards but gain 2 support cards, if you´ll find them.

Could anyone explain pls?

Thx

Scout Camp. "Kingdom. Whenever you search your deck, you may search an additional card."

Scout Camp adds 1(one) to the number of cards searched.

So, for Chittering Horde, "Action: Search the top five [plus one for each Scout Camp you have] of your deck. ..."

For Dwarf Cannon Crew, "Forced: After this unit enters play, search the top five [plus one for each Scout Camp you have] cards of your deck ... "

search

No problem. So the text of the card reads:

"Kingdom. Whenever you search your deck, you may search an additional card."

This means that the number of cards you draw in your search increases by 1 for every Scout Camp you have in play (their effect does stack). For your example, when you have a Scout Camp and put Dwarf Cannon Crew in play (whose text is):

"Forced: After this unit enters play, search the top five cards of your deck for a support card with cost 2 or lower and put it into this zone, if able. Then shuffle your deck. "

The "search the top five cards" adds 1 more card to the search, or essentially search the top 6 cards. You still only put a single support card in play.
