I just got to the hall where x-wing had its System Open yesterday, getting myself ready for the Hyperspace Qual today.

Guys, why is there trash everywhere? This is not how our community gets invited back places!

Cleaning what I can now, because I want xwing to be back. But guys, really?

I can't say I'm surprised. The British once left Tea all over the place when they were visiting Boston. So rude!

I'm not saying throwing it all in the harbor was the most responsible way of disposing of it, but jeez guys, clean up after yourselves!

Slightly confused here @ScummyRebel, because you posted this 7 hours ago, and Day 1 of the UK System Open was still in full swing 7 hours ago. And the Hyperspace Qualifier is tomorrow.

The joke was the British are messy. They left their trash in Boston, so Americans disposed of it in the harbor.

Now you'll notice (just like the OP's complaint) the country of origin of the trash is irrelevant. Does it matter what country that the trash the British attendees of the SoS left all over came from? No. The complaint was that they left trash, not that they left Dutch trash.

the country of origin was not Britain.

the Dutch brought tea from India to America, then the Americans trashed it instead of paying the tarrifs.

the british were mad because they would have recieved tax on the sale but it skipped the custom house.

edited to add that i think trash is lame, but that the joke was making a false analogy.
