And Legion is just going to be a couple of friends playing on a board at someone’s house with pizza... again, hardly a waste of time. (Also, we are splitting the costs with some Imp only and some Rebel only)

Any plans are a better way to spend an entire weekend than sitting around and watching X-Wing streams, and I say this as someone who enjoys playing X-Wing a great deal.

Just to add to this: I've just played 12 games of X-wing (UK system open) and every game had a new matchup. There were massive variations across the room, top cut and also down with the scrubs like me.
The only 'meta' lists I played were Kanan/Fenn (with variations from the standard version) and quad Wookiees.

Watching streams is boring anyway; I'd rather play, and I'm not that serious about the game to study it that hard. I can make mistakes without any help thank you very much 
But no, after the dominance of toilet seats I think there's quite a bit of variety these days. I get beaten by a range of squadrons!

I hate bomb-wing and the endless turrets with hyper accuracy, but regardless Im still excited to watch worlds stream

Not yet. The judging team was pretty busy all 2 days and the only things that got posted at all were the round pairings and then final Swiss standings for the main event. I haven't seen the final standings for Hyperspace yet.

Some boat; here. Didn't see more than 1 ghost/Fenn per day. Lot's of variation; and the UK System Open list isn't a "Standard Meta" build.
