Debate: Who gets Inferno Squad (Spoilers)

By AintNoPoser, in Star Wars: Legion

Question on my mind a lot, which side gets Inferno Squad? If this is the height of the GSW, then the Empire should get them. However, hypothetically, if they were to move towards the end of the war, then the Rebellion would get it. And since the OP is campaign based, and hypothetically, they could be moving linear, then it would make sense.

For those who aren't confused, please express your opinion on this very pressing issue.

Side note, I would say Admiral Versio, not Iden, would be the commander to go with the expansion for the Empire and Iden for the Rebellion.

Iden Versio and the rest of Inferno Squad for Imp Spec-Ops (yes, even the one that died before the Battle of Endor.)

Admiral Versio for the commander of that wave.

Make them non aligned :)

I don't think we'll see non-commander heroes, and inferno squad feels very much like that. That being said, having each member as a unique support or special forces character seems cool.

Yes

Have Inferno Squad as a 3 figure Spec-Ops unit with Iden's figure as the unit leader, with an heavy weapon trooper upgrade for the fourth member of Inferno Squad who died in their book.

I doubt that. Chewbacca makes more sense as a Special Forces than a Commander, as does Bobba Fett and some other characters.

Give Inferno squad to the Empire and give the Rebels Twilight Company!

guess I don't need to play that game (or read the novel...which was in my queue)

thanks for spoiling it.

Don‘t worry, the book is still worth your time! It is way better than the story from the game anyway. :)

Obviously this is a Legion thread, though if anyone of you is interested: I created the Inferno Squad members for Imperial Assault. Go check it out and tell me what you think about it! https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/267571-inferno-squad/

I‘m currently debating if i should go for Legion. There seems to be tons of cool stuff already. If we‘ll get Inferno Squad it would be a must have for me! Also: Pls make them imperial Special Forces. I love the idea of them being a counterpart to Twilight Company.

You mentioned legion’s swon enemy, imperial assault *spits*. For your crimes you are sentenced to death by the most torturous method ever. Only being able to watch the phanotm menace for the rest of your life but without any of the action scenes that don’t have jar jar. Its kind of a living death

Lol don‘t worry. It is more the other way round :P Legion will hurt IA more than IA could ever hurt Legion. And I really do think that these are actually two completely different games, both of which have their pros and cons. Only because I love IA doesn‘t mean I can‘t love Legion as well. In that sense: spread the love for both games and Star Wars as a whole!

Sure! No sane man would be that cruel :P Still gotta make that point every now and then. Over in the IA forums some people are quite harsh towards Legion.

Galactic Civil War - Imperials do.

Sequel Trilogy - Resistance does.

(If they ever do multiple timelines with multiple factions).

You're forgetting something very important here.

They ditch Hask and gain the best character from the BF2 campaign, Shriv.

Also, GCW Inferno Squad had 4 members, they lost Seyn Marana during their mission on Jeosyn.
