I'd assume Boba Fett for imperials next

You mean Veers needs Aim tokens to shoot? You know his Spotter ability to hand out aim tokens can work on himself right? So he can pass an aim token to a squad and then himself then shoot.

That's what I meant. He's still rolling whites, so you better be popping aim on him, but he can cut down on some of the rebels annoying cover tactics.

Do special forces units count toward the minimum of 3 troop units?

No, they count in there own section.

Now could you in theory run special forces minis as regular trooper units as long as you had the correct cards? Unless explicitly stated I would assume yes.

Rebel Commandos are part of the Spec-Ops section.

You can have a "regular" infantry squad, but it doesn't count towards your Corps unit total.

I think he meant you could use a Commando model to count-as a trooper provided you had the Trooper cards... For those that prefer the commando sculpts...

As usual in such cases, in casual games fell free to do as you please, as long as you specify what is what to your opponent beforehand an he agrees ;) In any OP event though... well, let's wait for tournament rules document before we jump to any conclusions.

I really can’t see Boba Fett being an Imperial commander. I mean, he’s a bounty hunter and a lone wolf; it wouldn’t make any sense to have him actually leading troops into battle. It doesn’t work themeatically. Who would trust him?

I think when we see him, it’ll be as a unique special forces unit. No reason named characters have to be limited to the commander slot.

Totally agree - just posted as such in another topic.
