Greedo Shot First

Rebel strike team is incredibly interesting. I like how you have a couple of different configuration options. 16 points for a 2-unit group with a heavy weapon seems pretty solid to me.

I really wish I had gone Rebel now... This game is going to be the death of my wallet.

Han Solo is pretty good for 120. Morale 2 is fitting, but means you'll want another commander to keep your troops alive. But 2 attacks with Sharpshooter and Pierce with 2 red dice is really neat. As long as he rolls a hit, something is dead.

Dressellian!!!!!!!!!

So if the pattern holds, I expect a Commander and Special Forces for the Empire to be the next two announcements.

Scout troopers either armed with sniper rifles and with a Sniper rifle special weapon is likely the Special Forces... Not sure if there is a canon commander that makes sense for that unit, as each of the paired releases.

Edit: I think the same Two units in one expansion box is what we will get for Scout troopers. E-web and sniper for Special weapons maybe?

Both of these expansions look sweet.

At least they are spacing them out a bit. ` Around $40 a month isn't terrible.

Han means you need 4 tokens to panic, which means you (on average) need 6 suppression before your rally step. He's still gonna be enough to keep your soldiers from fleeing from anything but, like, that one Vader command card.

Or if your Scout Troopers use that upgrade card to take on suppression tokens over and over, for... some reason.

Would make the most sense. Solo was basically the strike team leader (hence why he is being released with the strike team), Veers was on Hoth with snowtroopers and Leia with Fleet Troopers. If you can't sense the theme going on, not sure how to break it down any further.

But definitely agree. Krennic would be cool to see on the battle field. I'd be happy to see Death Troopers as long as they don't have a panic value. There's really nothing that strikes fear into the heart of rebel scum than seeing a squad of all black troopers with high-tec weapons aiming straight for your face.

Side note, Vader will probably the most common commander for the Empire just due to his tanky nature (damage done, received and his infinite panic value). Yeah he's 200+ points, but kinda need to keep your stormies going.

Yeah Krennic makes more sense.

I just want a mob of mandalorians lol

It'd be Gar Saxon and some Imperial Supercommandos in that case, but I'm pretty sure it'll be Scout Troopers and someone because we need to get the original movies out of the way first, and Scout Troopers would mirror the Rebel Commandos.

Scout troopers were leaked as a coming expansion awhile ago. Given that, I'd expect FFG to release them in the next wave to get the "known" expansions out of the way so they can surprise us.

So then who would be the commander to go with this expansion that is "known?"

Palp and the Royal Guard

Dunno. Could use Agent Blaise from IA, could use one of the commanders from Endor (Colonel Dyer or Major Hewex). Could be Sargeant Kreel, or some other character from the comics. Probably sooner rather than later FFG is going to end up doing lesser known Commanders for the Empire.

The Han Solo model looks atrocious though, the face looks nothing like Harrison Ford's

I'd like them a bit faster initially and they can slow down later on once we've got a bit more stuff to play with. We'll get Veers/Snow/Leia/Fleet and then that's it until at least July.

So its a Solo movie tie-in?
