Hello everyone,

Some of you may remember This Post from a few months back made by the user shadowarrior seeking interested players for a series of PBP games. As someone who took him up on his request for players then and found it monumentally entertaining, I am back again to see if more players would like to come and join in on some entertaining PBP action.

Right now there is a new PBP getting ready to start on Friends And Nemeses centered on the theme a formula 1 team in space.

The Galactic Racing Circuit is a game starting in session 0 where all types of characters are welcome and players will comprise members of a racing team in interplanetary and other forms of space races.

Currently, we have a GM and 3 players, a pilot, a mechanic, and a navigator, with room for 3 more players, and as was said before any character build is welcome.

Additionally, there is a relatively new PBP game titled Scouts of the Republic , centered on the exploits of a group of clone troopers during the time of the clone wars which is being GMed by one of the most experienced GM's on the site and may be accepting additional players at GM discretion.

There are also several games planned to start in the near future, including an old republic era game, proposed to start in April or May, and many potential openings that might be available once one of our GM's returns from a short hiatus.

Hmm. That's weird. @swrider is a sysop there, as is @ShadoWarrior . Hopefully one of them can comment on what's going on with your attempt to register.

I would have liked to join the Galatic Racing circus but the link appears to be broken.

Account creation issue is fixed. You should now be able to register. You will need to register from scratch or provide me with your username so I can manually activate your account. Sorry for the issue and delayed response.

I'd like to register for the site but I can't seem to get past the Captcha, tried about a dozen times and always tells me it's incorrect.

our system crashed a short while ago and we had to move to a new forum, I'll repost the link again, currently, there are three players in that game, as the person who was going to play our face disappeared on us. you might be able to talk to the gm if you want to join as a new character or even take over that character entirely.

you are free to come and check out the forum, I am not sure of current openings since I only play in 5 games and we have 13 active games running right now so you'll have to check there see if any openings exist, but I will check for the racing circuit specifically to see if there are openings.

The registration form keeps saying the captcha is wrong. Tried it several times with no success.

I would love to join but there seems to be a technical issue (and my Computer Skill Check seems to have failed ...)

are you capitalizing?

The Forum seems to be defunct, and the alternative link leads to an error message.

I'd like very much to participate in the Old Republic game, as KotOR is my all time favorite. (I'd appreciate it if you could keep me informed!) Unfortunately English is not my native language, but I guess the others can overlook some awkward choices of words.

It's not defunct; the two administrators are just incredibly busy in real life, alas. Hopefully one of them will see the messages here and see what's going on with the system.

I've left a note on the Friends & Nemeses forum mentioning the registration issues. Looks like LaGouache was able to get through, so it may be something else blocking you, Seam.

Yes.

I was completely unable to register from Chrome on my phone. But Samsung navigator was ok at first try. So I think this is purely a browser issue.

The issue has been reported to the two board administrators and hopefully it will be fixed soon, we have one individual who runs our code for the site and most of the time it doesn't have any issues.

As for dead links, I will go through this thread and edit all links in posts I have posted in order to make sure that they lead to where they are supposed to. We had to move forums a few months ago due to what i believe was a problem with bots and i neglected to update this page when we did.

I'm trying the same way, I'll give it a go on my pc later.

The Captcha's are built into the forum software and can not be bypassed by Admins. I was able to register a test account from my PC, though I did not try from a phone. Please try from a computer and report back any issues you are having.

Worked fine with Chrome on my pc, so likely just a mobile thing ?

On our board there is a topic named Active Games that lists every active game, who runs it, and how many openings there are. It is readable by everyone, even if you have not registered on the site.

Unfortunately the link only gives an error message for me ? .

Sean I just clicked on it and it was working, sometimes the forum has load errors and you just have to wait a few minutes to try again.

Edit: It worked now. Strange...
