if FFG jumped the Shark and added Jar Jar what would he do?

17 points to spend on something else. Might be the best Admiral in the game.

If FFG inlcluded this well-accomplished diplomat and much-beloved bringer of peace between long-divided peoples, they would certainly go all-in and give him a thematic card effect.

Then make one in arc counter attack with full battery die but modify all [hit icon] to blank or accuracy immediately after rolling. These die can not then be modified or re-rolled.

is that instead of dealing damage to the ships or inclusive of dealing damage cards?

make it two dammage cards rather than just damage maybe?

there might be huge untapped potential in detrimental upgrade cards that add weaknesses but make ships cheaper.
