Heard a cautiously unconfirmed rumour of Luke and Leia coming out on speeder bikes
Thats not me btw, copied it fro the Legion FB page. Just thought t might be a topi of interest on here, no idea if its true or not.

The assumption being that they remain commanders....

well it is obvious that we will see rebel bikes sooner or later (as probably we will see empire equivalent of AT RT) .
Having them as commanders? Strange. But having your commander sprinting around the battle field, is not a good thing when it comes to issuing orders....
BIkes cannot start a melee, so Luke would not be able to use his lightsaber...
Leia is a different pair of sleeves

Maybe he can be replaced with his trooper mini as an action. Also let his speeder he just vacated make a compulsory move after leaping free.
It could also just be a unit of Rebels on Speederbikes and one is male, the other is female.
With Luke and Leia as the only Rebel commanders, releasing them in a second unit with the unique rules would be a bit of a misstep in my opinion.

I was intending on painting the speeder bikes from core set #2 to be rebel spies (think Han and Luke on the Death Star) with the second AT-RT getting an Imperial paint scheme. Going to do the same with the T-47 speeders and AT-ST.
Its also worth noting they are not the only commanders for Rebels now.

That is the most likely the source of the "Luke and Leia" thing.
Other Star Wars media has shown generic Rebel Commandos riding stolen speeder bikes.
