Wedge, just because you can

By MasterShake2, in Star Wars: Legion

Whenever I declare using Wedge's ability, I'm just going to abuse the 360 part

"I'm not turning 120 degrees right, I'm turning 240 degrees left! Muwahaha!"

As an Imperial, I am legitimately scared of Wedge. He can get to the rear of an AT-ST and just live there with compulsory move-ability-ready action-attack. He's also annoying as all get out to hit with things that aren't the AT's primary weapon because of cover and armour.

You shouldn’t be scared. An airspeeder that’s behind your ATST is sitting in the middle of your forces and will die rather quickly - maybe getting two attacks off if its lucky.

I think you’re adding an extra action in that chain. It should be free compulsory move/free Wedge action to gain Full Pivot/Full Pivot action/attack. You wouldn’t be able to Ready him and attack in same turn. So realistically you can only use Wedge every other turn and I don’t think he’ll stay alive long enough to be used a second time unless you roll abysmally or ignore him.

I have to admit I sort of facepalmed when I saw that it was 360 degrees instead of 180. I mean, its probably better that it is to ignore stupid petty arguments with people bad at math, but still....

Ohhh, that's a lot less scary. Without having put it on the table though, armour+cover 1+ red defense die with surge seems like a really tough nut to crack

You can't use Wedge on the compulsory move. You must move speed 3. Instead of a move action, you can use Wedge, and then attack.

It’s only a white defense dice :(. If it was red the Airspeeder would be far more appealing for its points. It’s a shame cuz I’m playing Rebels and love the Airspeeder but every time I’ve played with it online it gets steamrolled if you play it with any amount of aggression

I'm just misreading every line of text I read in this game XD

FWIW, AT-ST uses white defense dice too. FFG seems to be designing vehicles pretty heavily around the Armor/Impact keyword interactions.
