Wondering what's a good 23pt ship to take for a third ship. I'm going to run;
Vader - intensity, title, atc, engine upgrade
Blackout - ptl, advanced sensors, autothrusters, primed thrusters
Need a third cheap ship. Was thinking omega leader with a score to settle and advanced optics but haven't had much luck. Played an aggressor often and haven't been pleased with it. Looking for some insight from the community.
Was just looking. Maybe Lt. Colzet with title and fcs? Can try as a blocker at first then get those face down damage cards turned up after?
It depends on what your trying to do. I think you should look at something that is high impact, like a star wing. Both your ships are higher agility ships, but not known for high damage. Blackout can be, but not consistent.
Nu squad - long range scanners, harpoons - 22 points.
It will even give you a 1 point bid.
I don't have a star wing sadly. Or harpoons. Also, that would put me at a 2 pt bid. Thanks though. I am an aggressive player.

Here's an oddball I had fun with the other day: Zeta Ace with Advanced Optics and Lone Wolf. 22 points. Super-long barrel rolls with rerolls and a stored focus token. I don't know if it's that good, but it's wicked cool. Epsilon Ace would also do well among the TIE/FOs, with at least Advanced Optics, and possibly even with Shield Upgrade. I find EpA draws more aggro than they truly deserve.
Countdown would be good. Personally, I'd be nervous about Pure Sabacc without Lightweight Frame, but it'd fit.
For TIE/Advanced, I've often enjoyed the Accuracy Corrector Tempest. Pretty consistent, but perhaps not truly strong.
22 point Starwing can always do OK.
You could save some points by using VI instead of Intensity on Vader, and Trick Shot instead of PTL on Blackout (gaining an attack die, losing an action - tough choice).
That would give you 27 points with which to play, enough to throw in a classic Omega Leader (Juke, Comm Relay), any Striker, etc etc
