Do Scum win any big tournies these days?

What I have personally experienced, is Scum players switching to Rebels en masse.

This is why you don't trust hired guns. Their loyalties lie with the all-time winners.

Rebels and Scum are similar enough so the switch is not that hard. In mu case,I like 2 ship lists ever since I started playing Brobots. Before the Genius nerf I was running Dengar/Nym as my main competitive option and Dash/Miranda on the side. After the nerf, I tried building a few lists, but, when nothing I made or saw on ListJuggler measured up to Dash/Miranda, switching to Rebels was the logical choice.

Looks like switching to me. Scum didn't have the major updates the other two factions had lately, missed a wave and so far looks like their missing another. So their best toys are well known by now, plus the other factions adapted quite a bit.

Remember, something very similar happened a couple waves ago, mostly with Imperial players switching to Scum.

idk if the jumpmaster was nerfed twice...going by memory

1.) deadeye used to trigger r4 aggromech, acquiring a TL when you spent a focus to fire plasma torps

2.) Zuckuss nerfed, a one-two punch that ended dengaroo

3.) Manaroo nerfed, the knockout blow to dengaroo

4.) Mindlink nerfed, it was the new deadeye for scouts

5.) FFG finally takes a hatchet to the upgrade bar

and then hey, it's still a **** fine ship!

a bit astounding when you look back and realize the ship that FFG initially thought was acceptable to release

You missed one: Deadeye being made small ship only.

E: and @ the OP, scum are a bit on the outs at the moment. They've only really got one top tier ship (Asajj) and nothign amazing to pair her with. Scum Nym was pretty well ruined by the Genius nerf, Dengar is still OK but he lost his killer app status with the trashing of his slots. Scouts are still among the most efficient ships in the game though, so Asajj/Scout/Scout and quad Scouts are both solid.

BroBots are still regularly doing well here (so long as your name is Jesper!)

Dengar/Asajj are still a potent combo. I've run a Bossk/Torkil/N'Dru list that draws salt if it doesn't melt too fast.

Asajj + Scout (title dengar crew)
Asajj + Boba
Asajj + Nym
Asajj + Ketsu
Asajj + anything apparently

so yeah get out that shadowcaster and learn the **** out of where the large ship hard 3 puts you

I've noticed at the could regionals I went to, scum lists were not very prevalent. I did manage to make top 16 in both Omaha and Tulsa with a 4 ship scum list.
