That's a pretty valuable argument, but TPM was review bombed way harder, and still beats it in the polls. The only hard data we have is the user ratings and the total number of reviews.

If 200'000 people - on a single site - give a product a bad review (say, a toaster), almost all people would look for a different product to spend their hard-earned money on. The same goes for movies, once the hype goes down.

People forget that. Review bombing is very much a frakking thing. But no, surely numbers are gospel.
