I just noticed what a massive bridge tower that SSD has compare:
Yes, I know. Unfortunately, the scaling can not be keep if we want a SSD in that game.
19 Km. for the SSD and 1.6 Km for a ISD, there is no match possible if you want to keep everything at the good scale.
For me, the bridge big as it is on the picture, it's fine.
At least, I will have the opportunity to put a SSD on the table

So wait; you’re saying the CR90 and Neb-B aren’t to scale in this scene?

that is a dead nebby. Which captain decided to do a close broadside with an SD?

They are following the instructions of a certain admiral . by doing this manouver they are using the star destroyers as cover from the second death star aswell as having it so the imperial gunners have to aim carefully as to not incur friendley fire against their fellow star destroyers.
I can also confirm that a nebby flying the opposite direction next to a star destroyer can do so for at least 2 turns. ( after which it is dead but it had a thruster failure thing) if it didn't I'd have been able to steer it away maybe.
should be noted the transport bright hope took a 1 accuracy 11 hit swipe from a Cymoon front arc before then. he could have shot at the side of the nebulon through the flotilla at the time, he banked and that ended them up flying next to eachother
( it was a 600 point game of precision strike, I won)

*Grasps caliper tightly* I have expectations about the size of my toy ships based on an imaginary universe written and worked on by many people!!!
The way I see it, the CR90 is so horridly out of scale already that the SSD being out of scale won’t bother me.
As much as I want some sort of XL size imperial ship (I favour Eclipse over Executor) I think FFG are missing a trick.
They could keep the community engaged with smaller releases-not necessarily new ships. Space station/defence platform packs & some custom missions for example.
Or go even simpler. New card packs with alternative units eg: Lando in the Falcon or (my personal want), a Vader fighter unit that fits more closely with the lore. Current escort Vader is just wrong (& seems woefully underused because of it)

Its a 3x6 mat...
If you really wanna complain about scale, play Empire at war. There are a few scaling issues in that game too.

In a game that goes to time a player can literally sit there and do nothing for 30+minutes (personal experience on this one). In a practical sense, there really isn’t a reason for turns to take so long with such a low model count.
Don’t get me wrong either. I love armada. I love the strategy and thought behind making moves. Right now , you can basically take five minutes to sit there before you move a ship. IMO it’s too much.
I agree there should be a time limit, admirals and captains don't have time to sit down and think what to do in the middle of the battle and this would definetely allow game to go faster.
I understand peoples wishes for the games to be shorter for tournemants but if the gameplay is changed it wont be the same Armada as few people stated in the previous posts. Instead of gameplay changes, timelimits and perhaps alterations in objectives would help the gameplay to be shorter.
I still believe there should be bigger and more ships on the mat and maybe there should be different categories at tournemants ( Cat A - 400 point game, Cat B - 600 point game and etc.).
