So what does Norra's affect do? "
Friendly squadrons with
BOMBER
at distance 1 gain "
: The defending hull zone loses 1 shield."" Question 1.) If I roll lets say a blue crit and a blank does this mean I can do 2 damage to the shield since it does the effect and the damage of the crit? Question 2.) Lets say the hull zone I am attacking has 1 shield, I roll one crit and a blank, does the affect takes the shield out and the damage hits the ship? Question 3.) If so is that damage face up?

The crit from Norra does the same as any crit for a ship.
If a squadron with bomber is rolling a crit when attacking a ship, it adds one damage to total and can resolve a crit. Normally the standard crit (first damage card will be face up).
With Norra this squadron can now choose between the standard crit and the special crit.
The crit is done before the damage, so if this bomber want to use the Norra crit, the zone first loose one shield and after this the normal damage is done.
For Q1: You are doing 1 damage and can resolve a crit. In this case the defending zone loose one shield. It is really important to difference this two. It is one damage and a crit. If the target can use a brace, it can not reduce it to one, because it is not two, it is 1+1. And for redirect the same, only the one damage can be redirected. Not the crit.
For Q2: First the crit, after this the damage. First you can resolve the Norra crit, this will remove the shield. After this one damage is being done to the ship. This card is not faceup, because you already used the crit for the Norra crit, and cannot resolve two crits with squadrons (yet...).
thank you
