Christmas came early!
Happened to me with some LotR miniatures once. GW sent me an unreleased Minas Tirith command blister instead of my pre-order exclusive Frodo and Sam in Orc armour. When I asked if I should send it back to get the Hobbits, they said I could keep it. Some days later an unreleased Orc command arrived...
Finally got my Hobbits after some weeks and ended up with two free (and temporarily exclusive) blisters. Fun times...

It's been known to happen in the past. Ordering now won't get you them early though.

The ecpansion was sold by game boarders. If you have time prime you might get it a few days early.
Feels like a gimmick post to get people to buy more from this store...I noticed some of there stuff is above retail.
You are welcome to feel that way. I could post a picture of my box in hand when I get home from work. I was just excited I get to start painting my stormies early and thought I'd share my excitement with the community.
Also amazon has an policy to make sure you get pre-orders on OR BEFORE release date... I have recieved things 2-3 days before release date and have heared (from family) of pre-orders being delivered up to a week early.

I’m not sure that 1 stormtrooper pack and some dice count as an early Christmas. But then again, you could split the squad into 2 and have some sort of a scrimmage match.

Amazon shipped my core set today and it should arrive on Monday.

Not much I'd imagine. The discounts on Amazon since the sellers on their don't have as much overhead as a brick and mortar location typically hurts worse. Not everyone who ordered from Amazon is getting their stuff early, just a couple items got shipped out early. Overall it looks like most people are getting their orders later. In my case, my FLGS offered a discount on prepaying for Legion pre-orders, but either way I was going to be ordering from them as that is where I play.
