New set is called Ways of the force .

Wonder if we can turn built to last into a thing

Aayla being so undercosted already lays the groundwork, especially with Luke's rod (heh), now we just need a 14 point partner

If kylo2 weren't a thing, legacies Luke would slot right in. Han doesn't fit because he's all ranged and yellow doesn't bring unique upgrades. If Poe fit, this deck would be utterly broken

Speaking of kylo2, he thematically walks all over Way of the Force Luke :(

Perhaps Ketsu? You could play a pretty excellent lightsaber suite and reliably redeploy almost everything off of Aayla.

IDK, the uniques you'll probably be using already redeploy with the plot

Guess if you're also using shotos?

We also may need more unique upgrades to be released overall, and I actually don't know if you can redeploy Blue Character Only stuff

You can

"Blue Character Only" is a play restriction. Redeploy or other such "move an upgrade" mechanics are not playing it, thus ignore it.

Only reason new Luke cant toss blue abilities on nonblue is because his ability specifically says he cant, otherwise he could. As an example.

Shotos, Ancients, and Light Bows would be the ones I'd run in there that Ketsu would grab. Well, the Ancients might get dumped for the heal instead, but redeploying Shotos and Light Bows is a good enough reason to take Ketsu. You also get spot yellow, which would probably push Ketsu over the top for target priority, at which point you laugh and ride Aayla to victory anyways? I dunno.

I'm a bigger fan of elite 7th sister. That's 3 dice your opponent will go after, leaving GG by himself. Otherwise, you got a beefed up 7th Sister with 6 dice in the end...

The big reason I prefer Dooku over 7th Sister in this case is because I own the former and not the latter. :-)

given deckbuilding ideas about Grievous, I'm now forced to imagine how much more fearsome he would have been with a bunch of Hunting Rifles and Dh-17s instead of sabers

granted, he was plenty scary in his cartoon incarnations, but his RoTs version really could've stood to be more uncivilized. Might've actually scratched Obi-wan with four blasters -_-

edit: so this deck is pretty symptomatic of every deck I seem to make, 0-cost mitigation or 1-cost multi-dice mitigation + binds all things + as many 2-cost blue sabers as possible. Not experienced enough to say it's any good, or if something like Boundless Ambition is worth including (loathe to spend more resources when we need to load up Grievous)

wish I could afford Maul's/Ancients. Probably have to replace them with Riot Baton (which doesn't bind...ugh) and Crossguard. Might even replace Maul's with Counsel, which obviously isn't a weapon but I am very fond of this little draw + focus engine which also basically serves to "hold" a resource until it gets overwritten.
