I’m planning to host some grilling-n-gaming evenings as the weather improves. Looking for some folding 4’x4’ tables but really hadn’t had much luck online.
Has anyone found any they are particularly fond of?

Your best bet is just get 4x2 banquet tables and stick em together.

Standard tables are usually 30" wide. Card tables are 30" x 30" square. You could get a half sheet of plywood and some folding legs and have a DIY table.
Yeah, I looked around a year or so ago, and I think the biggest squares I found were 42"x42". So I built my own, and haven't actually had need to use them since finishing them :/
Found a reasonable table at ikea that was 36x36 with the wings in. And the fold-out wings added another 18 in to two of the sides.
These are the only ones I’ve found so far. Actually not to bad. May give them a try.

This is what I did. Covered the plywood with some cheap felt and made two nice tables for around 60 bucks.
If it doesn't have to be square/rectangular then a 48" round makes a nice bbq/gaming table. It holds a 36x36 playmat with small but sufficient space leftover for templates and such. Legs fold in and the table folds in half with a handle for easy storage. Feel like I just gave a commercial but, hey, it works!
I just use a standard card table with a sheet of hardboard on top - it's $8 for a 4' x 8' sheet, so super cheap to set up 2 tables and light and easy to move/store.
