Will have to forgive me for not being up on my lore, but is this the first time that FFG has actually officially referred to the very powerful and popular Quickdraw as a woman? I think her only actual canon appearance is in this game.

I've seen a lot of posters do it, but sometimes they would assume she was a male instead.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up about the new article. The alt arts look great, wish I had a hope of winning one of those. Might have to go to the secondary market for some of that stuff.

No QD was referred to as "She" in the preview article(s), similar to some of the other female imperial pilots.

I don't k ow why but I've always thought if quuckdraw as a woman, perhaps I saw Her being used first and it stuck.

FFG has alternated in gender of pilots before in different articles. The game's not canon, and it doesn't matter since FFG hasn't made up their mind. Technically, QD, Backdraft, Echo, and Whisper are "They"- Each is 2 people.

Also Wampa is a literal wampa. I didn't have that alt-art made of Wampa in his cockpit for nothing!

Guess she isn't showing enough skin in the card art to get recognized. Glad to see that the alt art didn't change that. Could still be either way honestly.

Thanks. I read through the article with all the ships in that wave but not the SF specific preview. Sure enough, it's in there.

I have the same problem when people refer to Omega Leader as a “she”, even though the pilot is referred to as male in the announcement article.
