Yeah, what they want right now is for as many gamers as possible to be slobbering at the mouth waiting to get their greasy paws on Legion. They want a Black Friday style stampede as gamers rush down the aisle to get their copy. They want the people on the fence to say, “oh well, nothing new for my old favorites; might as well check out Legion.”

Last thing they want is anything stealing Legion’s thunder.

That makes me feel good. No offense to Thrawn and Raddus but I always thought if that was FFG's definition of "big" than we would be in for some disappointing waves in the future.

Question from audience was: "Last year at GenCon you said something big was coming, and then...?"

Response: "Yes, we did say that, didn't we? I think that's all the more I can say, maybe I've said too much", and sounded like someone behind him said "that's correct"

So...I dunno, odd interaction. I guess I'd read it to mean 'something big' is still coming, but maybe not in a way we'd really expect?

Overall, that show has been a thorough first thing in the morning disappointment....but ok, I buy the „nothing must overshadow Legion“ argument.

Well, that's somewhat disappointing, especially since I am one of those strange souls who doesn't actually *care* about Legion at all

To some degree, probably planned.

But can I tell you? I doubt the Assault Gunboat was planned.

Unless they planned to release it 4 years in advanced...

I dont know. But when I see those wookie ships and the rate they churn out ships, I dont think its far fetched that the Gunboat would also have shown up, eventually.
