star wars models sighted at Hobby Lobby

By boogle22, in Star Wars: Legion

I saw x wings y wings at st's u wings tie fighters at Hobby Lobby for about 30 to 40 dollars each. I think the scale was 1/48. The atst was 30 dollars and the ships were 35-40 dollars.

I got an at st 1/48 scale it is way to small sadly

Still waiting for any pictures of Bandai models to FFG minis :(

The Bandai 1/48 AT-ST is really close. Definitely not way too small.

After Hobby Lobby got caught buying religious artifacts from ISIS I stopped shopping there.

(1/48 is as close a scale as you can get...the AT-ST should be fine if you extend the legs)

It’s the same size as the Imperial assault at st. It is no where near the Ffg legion models size the driver is about 15 mm size

The point is you can use these models for scrap and crashes, that's what I'm trying to get at.

@Drakoniss, I'm sorry but your information about the size of the Imperial Assault AT-ST and the Bandai 1/48 AT-ST is incorrect. If you had both in your hand you can easily see the difference.

Here is an image from a boardgamegeek user comparing the AT-ST and Bandai 1/48 AT-ST. How can you say they are the same size?

I own both bandai and IA walkers. The bandai AT-ST is massive compared to the IA.

Put the ankles and the knees at the same angle, I also own both.

did I somehow get on the IA board?
Pretty sure we were comparing the LEGION model and the Bandai one.

I am completely baffled by the reality you appear to believe in. About every single individual measurement on the bandai kit is longer than the IA.

These models have been at HL ever since Force Awakens. Why is this a post again?

yes...why are we comparing the IA model with the Bandai model on the LEGION board?
I wasn't...I was comparing the LEGION one with the Bandai one which MOST of us are doing.
why does the IA model keep joining the conversation? It's TINY...we ALL know that.

*grabs popcorn *

All I want for Easter is a reference so I can buy a Bandai model to make into an "old clones ride" I have both the IA minis and the older model kit (which is same as IA just a taller stance)

If someone has the Bandai model and their local store has some pre-release figs snap a pic :)

Here ya go!

The Bandai X-wings they have at Hobby Lobby are 1/72. The U-Wing is 1/144

The Bandai AT-ST and Snowspeeders are 1/48

Bandai does have a 1/48 X-Wing, but IIRC you would have to get that from Amazon or E-Bay as they have not been released through BlueFin in the US at this time

Neither of those are the Bandai 1/48 AT-ST

That smaller one is the Imperial Assault one on the left (you can tell by the guns, head details and non-poseable legs) and the Legion one on the right

I have the Bandai 1/48 AT-ST and I have seen the Legion one. The Legion one is a little larger, probably closer to 1/45 scale. The Imperial Assault one is closer to 1/72 (maybe in the the 1/68 range?)

and here is the Imperial Assault one with a 1/72 Stormtrooper to help get an idea of how much smaller the Imperial Assault one is

Necromancy, while often shunned in most societies as “desecrating the deceased” is actually a common and sometimes encouraged dark art in the Forums of the Intrawebz.

Sorry. I had been doing some research on things that were compatible to 1/48

You beat me to it. That is how I bought my models from Hobby Lobby. It brings them down to 17.99 each for the Revell A-Wing the Bandai T-47 and the Bandai AT-ST. For the quality and detail that is a good price.

The AT-ST by Bandai is slightly smaller than the AT-ST by FFG and the Bandai T-47 is slightly larger than the FFG T-47.

In my opinion the A-Wing is a great scale but there isn't anything else to compare it to so what do I know.
