Movement through Strain

By Seam, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hello!

This might be asked before: If a character buys movement points with Strain can he/she say attack two times and spent the movement points during his/her activation. Or can the bought movement points only be used with a movement action?

Thanks!

Those movement points can be spend without requiring a movement action.

its actually a critical Rebel ability that when used right will optimise their chances of winning missions.

a Rebel can strain twice for 2mp, spend them and attack twice in one turn if required.

In campaign, heroes can always suffer one strain (if possible) to gain 1 movement point, up to twice per activation. So, whether you do this before your attacks, in between or after, you may still spend those movement points to move up to two spaces...

Thanks!

The Move action allows to perform a move , which grants movement points according to Speed.

To move the figure you spend movement points regardless of where they came from.
