My 3 Tables: Endor, Scariff and Tatooine
That's a ton of variety! Awesome!
Good job painting up the imperial terrain pieces. Anyone know of a good desert game mat? That mat looks pretty good. Most I have seen is just a bunch of sand. Not really interesting.
Was the Lambda Shuttle 3D printed? Are the STLs available?

Shuttle was a Revell kit.

Thanks, all those matts are from URbanmatz
Very nice! I can just envision the rebels in desperate combat against the galactic empire. All those tables are nice, my favorite ones are the Scariff and the Endor ones. Keep up the great work.
What did you use for the scarif bunker? I can’t seem to find any good 3D print files.
I hope you're planning for that to be "Shallow Water", I'd hate to be the unit stranded in that one corner by a bad deployment.
But in seriousness, excellent work.

Im planning it to have no effect on movement at all, ankle deep so to speak.
Everything looks fantastic! Nice job. I too am fearing I may be spending more time with terrain than i should, lol.
1 question, regarding the Xwing and Uwing, are those toys or models? (and from who?) They look very close to scale and I never thought about using something like that.

Did you make those palms as well?

The palms I ordered on Ebay pretty cheap, they were shown as from china with upto something like 40 days delviery but they came in about a week ;]
I really want to do something similar to your Scarif board but I was thinking of using Water Effects by Woodland Scenics. Going to try (hopefully successfully) to base my stormtroopers with a sandy base and then water effects on top to make it look like they're walking in water. Might look goofy on other boards but whatever.

I'm going to try this as well. I'm going to do some experiments tonight to make sure the water effects wont delaminate from grit.

Maybe do a sealant over the base first and then do the water FX?

So right now I have 2 plans.
1. Styrofoam, dry wall filler, 50/50 pva/water, fine sand, 60/30 latex paint(beach sand color)/pva to seal it up, then water effects 1/8th inch at a time.
2. Styrofoam, Vallejo texture paste, paint, water effects 1/8th inch at a time
Which one will be used for the table? Well if neither delaminates 1. If either delamninates then I'll use the one that didnt. If both delaminate many f words.

One thing I want to try is taking a light blue and make the water refractions on the ground. Make it look like this:

Woodland scenics make still water tint. I’m going to play with the turquoise to make the water pop. Then you can add water effects on top of the still water to get the ripples and refraction.
