Twin Troopers 24: Maul

By ThatJakeGuy, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

My car ride home just got easier.

After listening to the episode I began to wonder whether a list could be built using self-focussing units (IG, BT, Maul), and also those for whom focus is not so effective due to lack of good, or limited, surge options (Gamorreans, Bossk, Rancor, etc.)

The idea is that this could free up the 6 points from Jabba/RCP into more offensive units. Or perhaps to make efficient use of the eClawdite as a semi-support unit.

Has anyone tried something like this?

I actually did try a list like that a few games. In general I found it to be pretty fragile and I found the Sith Lords list to be a lot more effective and fun.

I've been brewing on exactly such a list, and got to try it last week. It came well out of the gate. Then I made 20 mistakes and lost terribly. I've made some changes and want to try it again. Still think it has potential. :)
