An ISD, a Victory and a Flotilla walk into a Rebel ambush....

I am experimenting with a list(s) that use a Victory. This one shows promise. Not sure on the Q7's but they may be useful in this list.

Your ships look solid, but I don't love your squadrons. I mean, the Zertik + Bossk combo is cool, but I think you want something that can hold out a little longer.

I'm also not a fan of Kallus on the Gozanti — he's great on a Raider, but I like him less here.

What would you think of this squadron build instead?

That is 59 points. You can afford it if you drop Kallus.

Alternatively, instead of Whisper and Black Squadron, you could put in Morna Kee.

Consider Morna Kee a ship that doesnt get an activation. You only want her in the squad fight as a last ditch. You want her chasing and killing ships. I wouldn't put her in a tie up and die ball when she is the same cost as 3 generic ties which would do a better job at that anyway.

I see what you are trying to do with your squads and when it works it will be comically effective. But that will be maybe a long shot, as it unless your opponent balls all their squads up tight and lets you tie them down AND didn't bring intel they can pick around the edges and nuke bossk quick then burn soontir then zertic.

Ciena, valen, howlrunner and mauler is 61 points and can wipe the typical rebel 55pt squad build. If you drop tractor beams (and you should, you need at least 2 for them to be effective) you can afford it. This gives you a fairly good squad punch from your 2 goz if you play very conservatively with them and dont let them get alpha'd.

@BrobaFett That is the exact plan for squads if this doesn't work out :-)

I fancied my luck with tractors, but I fear they will be as awful as ever :-)
