No doubt I will give it a chance. But I've much preferred the animation medium to Star Wars storytelling over the live action stuff.

Basically, the only content creative at LucasArts I can get behind 100% is Dave Filoni. The rest are hit and miss. So I hope you're right.

But I also think it's a better medium for Star Wars than live action. More flexibility with drama, shots, presentation, art...and probably lower budget. Live action is going to look clunky by comparison.

I ended up liking Trek Discovery. GoTs is great. I'm pretty sure Disney has the coin to make the production values on a 10-12 episode liveTV format great. Pair that with some actual good writing, could be huge.
