They can fly a ship off the board in a couple seconds. So OP! We can't repel firepower of that magnitude!
Nerf Human Hands

Hey, what if we just let computers play? Call the Fly Casual guys and see what they have to say when 2 AIs play each other.
How many times have you or your opponent slowed the game down to a crawl just to set the ships "just right" when they bump and then somehow knock down or move a ship out of position as you're extracting your hand?
It's maddening!
oh well.
That's why I only use my feet to move my ships

I've been on both sides of this equation. it's even more maddening as the bumper. :'(

Like 14 times just last night, 5 times while measuring a crucial in arc/out of arc or in range/out of range situation. No one is more mad at me when I nudge a ship than me.

Imagine the same situation as a judge. Players call you over to measure super close thing. You're getting in close to get the measurement and poof you bump some small gun or your badge falls out of your shirt and bashes a ship. Now what? You just ruined the whole game state.
Edited by KillerardvarkI personally need a buff to my brain.
case and point: Norra has 3 hit points left. opponent fires TLT, rolls 2 hits and a crit. I roll 1, blank out. I deal my 3 cards, crit is major, roll major, take a direct, took norra off the board. he looks at me and goes "wtf are you doing?"
next game, same opponent, same situation vs Nym, I do exactly the same thing... "are you okay?"
our friend, who I just beat "why can't you derp when we play?!"
Human hands aren't the real issue. The real issue is sleeves. Hands without sleeves are something you can generally deal with in this game, but sleeves are knocking ships about all the time. It's like tractor beam dialed up to 11. There's no point in nerfing hands unless you nerf sleeves too.

I used to play in my hockey jersey from GeekyJerseys.com (shameless plug), but that had to end quick.
I'll add hoodie strings as another problem. You don't think they'll do much until it snags on XWing guns and pulls the ship.

Wasn't there a shirtless table at a recent event somewhere?

go shirtless for the integrity of the game!

If I looked as good as Oscar Isaac, I certainly would. Heck, probably even if I looked as good as Adam Driver.
*edit*

We need to Nerf the Table Edge. That is like an autokill.

About 15 years ago, I played 40k at Arcanacon in Melbourne against a guy with No Arms who did just that.
This is why I never use my hands. ?
I only use the force to move my minis! no way I can ever go over the edge with...

I meant that if you want to remove a ship from the board, you can just slap it off of the table in one shot.
or zap it into oblivion,
Palpatine's Lightning
Cannon Slot
25 attack dice
Preform this attack as many times as you want, even against ships outside of your firing arc and beyond range three.
you may change all results to critical hits, your opponent cannot cancel these in any way. After preforming this attack you may incinerate your opponents ships and throw them out the window of a tall building. Congratulations, you are now the senate. ![]()
(You may only equip this if "Emperor Palpatine" is in your squad)
Edited by CMDR YtteriumI'm the second oldest guy I know who plays the game. If you think hands are bad now, add 20 or 40 years to your age. You're in for some real fun then!

No difference.

I was thinking this was out of hand, then I saw the limitation. Should work fine.

Trust me, there's a Big difference between a shaky hand at 35 and one at 65.
