No. Maz's Vault gives both players resources, that would effectively cancel out the benefit.

Hera + 2wookies is good too. The wookies really dont need much besides electrostaff to be a problem.

Yeah, throw them for a miss with Hera and use Docking Bay. Is it a vehicle deck? Maybe...maybe not!

Are you not interested in Blue? eAayla works w/2 X Wookies, and you get to load up w/sabers and do Aayla magic with all those blue dice! Synchronicity works good, too, since the Wookies have shields.

If you go blue over red, you have to stock other resource-generating cards to pay for the Wookiee damage sides. Yellow hero does have such cards, so you can go either way, but Electrostaff helps a LOT.

Problem with Aayla is her ability doesnt work on friendly yellow dice.
Also lack of electrostaff kinda forces a heavy resource income, wookies do crap for damage unless you got the moola or an oversized cattleprod.
