What would you like to see in the future

A new campaign box set would be great as well. I'm not overly concerned about what the theme of the campaign might be, but it would be a great vehicle to launch some new upgrades for existing ships/squadrons.

* More new unique squadrons for units from Rebel and Imperial "Squadron II" sets, as well as for those in "Rogues and Villains".

* New titles for many of the earlier wave ships, particularly the Pelta and Interdictor.

* More new Red/Yellow/Blue objectives (Really like the idea of faction-restricted ones. Perhaps 2 each for Rebel and Imperial, all 3 types. This would add another 12 objectives to the game). Of course, a set of campaign-only objectives as well.

* New Admirals, 1 per Faction, likely matching the theme of the campaign.

* ???

Also...

* New VARIANTS on the existing Flotillas (with titles to match, kinda like the Chimera pack did for the Original ISD). This could be an opportunity to introduce a new ship upgrade TYPE (and NEW upgrade cards! Yay!), potentially offering up some new styles of play with flotillas. Stated before, I think offering up additional options to make flotillas more combat oriented in some interesting way (with the possible removal of the Scatter token defense for balance, but keeping all existing flotilla rules/restrictions) besides just more/better dice, for instance. Again, to breathe some freshness into a component that EVERY existing Armada player already owns (seriously, who doesn't own at least 1 flotilla?? LOL).

* Speaking of flotillas, Introduce the C-Roc Cruiser flotilla, the first ship usable by EITHER faction (give it that same "new" upgrade type mentioned above). Include 2 in the set, but keep in mind this will definitely increase the price of the campaign box.

Understood.

i thought people like the X-Wing change due to their being some wonky cards in their first deck and a new one was needed?

Now.

When you can choose which to use. To your advantage.

Imagine at the start when you were told you MUST only use a new one.

I wanna see happiness, wealth and world peace in the future. And FTL travel of course :D

new objectives that use different tokens to score/move/target? (cargo ship/neutral flotillas/turrets?) alternatives tokens that are NOT objective tokens and are not affected by strategic hahahahaha. would add another level of play methinks.

More creative objectives that both introduce new ways to play and open up design space. Difficult as good ones also have to match up to the most-used objectives currently without power creeping over them.

conditions? (add-ons to the current objective that do other stuff. Both players deploy one or both deploy none)

I want Epic play in Armada!

Change some rules as for Epic play in X-Wing or for a campaign and it should fit :)

This looks really appropriately-sized, never mind that is not to scale. :)

correlian DP20 gunship/ frigate and dreadnaught are at the top of my wishlist.

never cared much for dorneans.

anyone here remember Loose cannon and those pirates with the bacta?

I want a box containing 2 or 3 different types of flotillas, either just different models or models & stats for the rebels

lets get some different ships out there for the rebels making it look more like a rag tag rebellion instead of an organised military force

A wave where the imperials get 2 ships and the rebellion gets 1.

You'll just get a wave with TWO ISD repaints! Thus answering your prayers, and spiteing you at the same time.

Medium Rebel Assault Frigate Mk. I and Medium/Small Imperial Dreadnought. That could be good Wave 8. Not sure what roles these could fulfill, but rebels could use another medium ship and it seems that AF Mk I wouldn't be overpowered with Ackbar (it would be more front arc oriented ship, like Nebulon, right)?

Maybe upgrade cards that interact with the flagship keyword?

We could do with a wave that boosts MSU, feels like. No clue what that might contain.

Why not expand on the already in place Fleet Support slots?

If they give us new flotillas, I hope they include rules for mixing ships in the flotillas. For example, if the Rebels got a C-ROC (as much as I don't want a Rebel Gozanti), it would be cool if there were mechanics behind pairing one C-ROC with one GR-75 on a base that blended their stats.

Faction Starter Sets.

$50MSRP

REBEL STARTER:

MC40 (Small Base)

DP20 Corellian Gunship (Combat Flotilla)

x2 X-Wings

x2 Y-Wings

new Damage deck*

new updated rule book

new Rebel specific objectives

dice/dials/templates/etc needed to play

IMPERIAL STARTER:

Vindicator SD (Small Base)

Imperial Customs Corvette (Combat Flotilla)

x2 TIE Fighter

x2 TIE Bomber

new Damage deck*

new updated rule book

new Imperial specific objectives

dice/dials/templates/etc needed to play

* If Needed

I would rather make it keep the core ships and just have these replace the core. Spending 70$ for Luke and Dodonna sounds annoying.

2 CR-90s and a Nebulon for Rebels

Victory and Arquitens for Imperial.

I like the separate faction core box ideas, but they should be maid for new players.

Stations that can take upgrade cards and strong anti squadron upgrades.

How about a campaign set or expansion that contains 3-4 new titles for every ship type in the rebel and Imperial fleets, for more options.

New unique squadrons/aces for the rogues pack, rebel fighter pack 2 and Imperial fighter pack 2

an option for adding non-imperial/rebel ships and fighters to a faction, like the hutts, mandalorians, chiss, hapan and the like

more objective cards, including specialized options for both rebel and Imperial forces

maybe even variant fighter cards that would allow us to use our standard fighters as different models (ie X-Wing could add T-65CA2, T-65AC4, T-65R, the Y-Wing could add BTL-A4 Longprobe and BTL-A4 single-seat bombers)

There's all sorts of things we can still add to this game :D

Seen ion torpedoes used in recent movies. Maybe something around this. Effect could be no dial reveal or token usage.

Would have to be rebels only and y wing only. As only imperials are dodgy enough to be caught out

That is essentially what Norra Wexley is.

Especially when you compare the Blue Critical Effect she grants to the effect of "Ion Cannon Batteries"...

... She and squads nearby to her use Ion Torpedoes.

I would love to see a new campaign expansion and also new ships ofcourse.

Doesn't mean he can't lead a pirate fleet.

Personally, I’d like some scenarios for casual play; something without the time commitment of a campaign, but without the symmetry of a standard match. For example, a 2 vs 1 blockade run, or a shipyards raid where the Empire has ISDs they can only activate from round four onwards.

I like this but would like to see a random scenario and force generator for casual play. Ether using cards or a a computer app. you can put the cards into a deck for ships and fighters you have available to play and a deck of set up, events, fog of war and missions etc.

Sorry, I should have put Quotes up.

Since, y'know, That's what he'd have said there if you mentioned "Admiral" to him.

"Pirate."
