I've been flying a very similar list for a little bit now featuring Jan Ors in the RSV spot. It hits like a truck, but it's not very good at surviving oncoming traffic. So I slotted in a punching bag in RSV. I'm curious if it would be better to use DTF or Selflessness for the EPT to get a bit more defensive going for these guys. Or, do I opt for a fat Norra with a selflessness/DTF Jess?

I would go with selflessness in your list as you have low agility non defensive ships and one 4 or 5 dicer attack can cripple one of your ships.

Jess is probably the better option. Selflessness ship should not be more expensive or more important (rsv has regen) than the ship you are protecting. Jess is a great selflessness carrier because trying to kill her first is a *****, and not killing her first guarantees a round of split fire.

that was my idea too....and I didn't think of the Jess/Norra changes until I was deep into the post. But I think it may be a solid idea. I really enjoy FFA on Norra as it really helps to keep her on target or to keep up to slammers.... The downfall of my original list has been Wedge dying first, then Norra gets focused down hard right after. Jan is no good by herself. But she has been amazing for helping burn down targets. Even Assaj feels the pain when wedge takes a R1 with 5 dice

I think SelflessJess is a great fit with Norra and Wedge. You can load her up a bit more if you want to keep a cheaper Norra, ie get Pattern Analyzer on her.

What I would love to do is have Expertise norra and Epertise wedge. put Jan Ors on Norra, and find a way to pass her a focus token for an evade....

I like both of those lists. Fenn is, of course, a very strong support - way stronger in that capacity than Jess. However, Jess is a little powerhouse hitter all on her own, which Fenn is NOT, and with Selflessness, can take a key hit away from one of her buddies, which is really really strong with a couple of fragile ish ships, especially when Jess doesn't even want to be in the late game.
