So, yesterday I snapped the peg off of one of my ships for the second time. This happened once before and I successfully fixed it with Gorilla super glue gel. This time, no matter how long I leave it, it simply will not bond.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Take a hobby knife or file (or anything really) and score the location where you are putting the glue on. That way, it has more surface area to bond to. Super glue accelerant is also nice to use, but be careful not to overdo it.

It's also good to get rid of any old glue. I've learned super glue isn't very sticky when trying to stick to super glue.

Also, try some epoxy instead of super glue if super continues to fail you, it's almost guaranteed to work as it hardens into it's own resin.
