Better or Worse?

After the imperial cicle some "sacred cows" are in their way to be replaced cause they loosed some power with new releases, and still, other cards are becoming even more relevant..

Assassination: Vital in core set, every deck used to run at least 2, but now with stronger dishonor decks and the game slower, my impression is it will loose some slots in many decks, and with more diversity of good 2 cost targets it can become less effective.

Court Games: This is a card I don't expect to see less use soon, in core set it was more a "I'll run 3X cause there's nothing better with 0 cost". But with the meta right now is difficult to take it off, either to protect your honor, lock high glory chars or to gain some political skills.

Policy Debate: Winner of the most hated contest, righ now it seem a little OP, but with several releases I believe we can reach the point of having so many good cards in hand that PD will be more relevant to read opponents strategies, and when this time come maybe it will loose it's place in tier 1 decks, I hope.

Agree/disagree? What other cards cards you felt gained/loosed value after the cycle?

Charge seems like it can only get better as each new set/cycle will increase the number of available high fate cost characters.

Court Games I think goes down as the card pool increases because we'll eventually end up with cheap fodder for every clan that allows more clans to absorb the dishonor side of the card and makes it less versatile.

Policy Debate I expect to go down for similar reasons you mentioned.

Pathfinders Blade, Talisman of the Sun, and Iuchi Wayfinder go up in value as province effects will likely continue to get stronger and more varied. Wayfinder being an extra Shugenja to help with use of Cloud the Mind should also be considered as we will undoubtly see more and more impactful abilities on New characters.

Let Go and Calling in Favors remain strong and likely stay there or go up as attachments will probably not get worse. Until there is a neutral card that deals with attachements or all clans get some way to deal with enchantments, like Crab's holding.

Assassination I think remains strong unless dishonor gets really pushed. The amount of good 2 fate or less characters will increase and Assassination remains a good barrier to keep those characters in check. Its always scary when you make the decision to commit resources to winning a conflict and the good majority of those assists are tied up into a 2 cost character.

Banzai remains strong as it spreads the pump amongst two characters when need be or just buffs one guy giving even weak military decks a shot at breaking two provinces in a turn. It might get phased out at some point but I'd still expect to see a decent amount of them show up.

Katana/Fan remain relevant until the price attached to a more expensive item, with equal stats, justifies the cost. They are already phasing out as auto includes but they still play an importent role in the decks that run them.

Those are all I can come up with now.
