Tracking Topics

Is there a way to track topics?

I've been just going to the page that shows what topics I've posted to, and clicking on all of them, but, it seems pretty standard to have a "favorites," or "e-mail me when updated subscription," thingie. Where is it?

And, if for some odd reason there is no such feature, can I tell which topics have been posted to from that "Quizoid's Posts" page?

If this is something we could vote upon, I'd like to cast mine in favour of having the ability to track a topic. Unless the whole idea is get people to keep coming back to check and see on their own if there have been any responses to a given post, it would seem that a notification of new responses wouldn't be out of order.

I'd really like that functionality as well.

Wow... so I'd take that as a "no, there is no way."

That's so bizarre. I sort of just assumed I just didn't find it. It's such a common feature now, it would almost be considered "bare bones."

Unfortunatly there are plenty of "basic features" that this site lacks... almost as if the site was built entirely from scratch. Standing on the shoulders of those who came before isn't a bad thing, especially where coding of any kind is concerned. With as much stuff out there that is open source, you can still do it without plaigerising anyone.

It would be a nice feature, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.

Maybe that would move FFG to action! How about all of us forum users tell FFG that we will all hold our breath till they get some basic features up. FFG would then have the choice of losing all their dedicated fans, or improving the site.

Okay, I admit it wasn't my best idea. sad.gif
