I'm pretty sure by the point that it was only the 3-1's and the 4-0's left, the only lists that were solely comprised of primary firing arcs only were Dion, Myself, and a single 3BQD.

I was stubborn and decided to keep playing the event even though I wasn’t going to win anything. (I also didn’t realize a hanger bay was going to happen, so I thought that was the only way to play). I stayed in the event despite not being that good, and only had standard primary arcs as well.

Kylo + Rho boats here. Even if I’m not good enough to make cuts, I’m having fun staying wholesome and I stayed in the event for practice.

I've had some time to decompress and cobble together my (short) thoughts on Adepticon:

• The people were great. I wasn't surprised.
• Only one of my St. Louis crew ended up with shield tokens. I was really surprised. That might have changed if a few of them didn't have scheduling conflicts which required they arrive late and/or leave early.
• I practiced exactly zero games against meta staples and split my games against those I faced (Ghost/Fenn, NymMiranda, Palp Aces). I'm feel confident that if I'd cared enough to practice even half a dozen games against each list, I'd have won those game which I lost.
• I spent the overwhelming majority of my time in the X-Wing area, and was perfectly fine with that.
• The Open final was hilarious. If you weren't there, don't judge.
• Asking the Hanger 19 guys if any of them wanted a Stay on Target AA Miranda was the height of my "I'm old, tired and don't pay attention" moments of the weekend.

sounds like it was a lot of fun.
