Raddus MC75/80

By Falco406, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Hey guys,

I need some help with this list. My basic thought is to run the GR-75 and the CR90 up a flank or drop from Hyperspace (w/B-Wing and Nora) behind the enemy for the Aspiration to drop out of hyperspace and unleash on some rear arcs.

If my opponent doesnt pick Hyperspace the B-wing and Nora deploy via Rapid Launch Bays to soften up an arc.

Mon Karren follows the little ships up the flank trying to distract from gunnery teams blowing both my small ships up.

Aspiration cannot drop from hyperspace as it is large based. It can't be Raddused in either as he is on the ship.

Two slow bomber squads would do nothing worhwile. Even a token squadron force can tie them down them for as long as necessary. And once the B-win is oit of range it will never get back...

I would swap the engine techs for turbolaser reroute circuits on the CR90, as they give you a little more command flexibility and dramatically increase your damage. @Norell is right about Hyperspace Assault and the bombers; a large bomber force or any number of fighters would kill them, and could park in the 75's front arc while waiting. Swapping them for Shara Bey and Tycho Celchu gives you a legitimately annoying speed bump for enemy squadrons that can still pitch in against the rare squadless fleet. (This would mean turning RLB into a bid, but without an intel squadron in there a squad player could thwart it anyway.) Contested Outpost or Planetary Ion Cannon should be solid choices for the yellow objective slot. Assault proton torpedoes might give you more value than rapid reload, as it has the same basic effect (adding a damage), but it's face up and through shields for three points less. Finally, I'd drop Toryn Farr, who doesn't have many blue dice to work with, for leading shots on Mon Karren. If you have too much space after that, the GR75 would happily use a comms net or slicer tools to pull its weight. Hope this helps!
