A total noob here looking for some help in building lists with a single K-wing or even a pair of these magnificent birds.

I don't have much time to ponder builds so looking for some help.

My son helped me with a K / E WIng build which I enjoyed a while back, but have been flying b wings for a while and suddenly feel a yearning to fly the k wing again.

Anything between 38-50 points of Miranda. Pair with whatever you like.

Standard K-Wing these days is Miranda w/TLT, Bomblet Generator, and Sabine (for improved bombing - best run with another bomber like Nym), Rey (for much improved TLTing/possibly defense, my favorite option) or C-3PO (for pure defense). Depending on what you then pair her with, you might throw on Harpoons and GC/LRS, m a y b e Extra Munitions. Honestly, she can be paired with pretty much anything.

My favorite Rebel list right now is as follows:

Greebwahn hit the K -Wing build, except with Esege.

Just kidding. I've never seen him flown

Miranda with TLT, Sabine and Bomblet (LRS for taste)

Horton with TLT, Title, Chopper, Bomb Loadout and Guidance

Jess with M9-G8 and IA

This thing hasn't lost yet (in 10 games). All of them get re-rolls because you insta lock Miranda with M9, and just let miranda cartwheel around the board. You make up for the loss of Rey with the extra re-roll for the TLT, and bombs are always evil.

Even without being paired with other people, I think this is my favorite Miranda build ever. Fat Miranda never interested me becasue I always like stuff that isn't all the eggs in one basket. It's simple, effective, and actually very points efficient. It fits as a cheap-ish filler in a lot of rebel lists (pair with Low for super duper survival) and is able to kite itslef away from alpha strikes quite easily. (and with the PS wars revamped, you can even use miranda as a blocker!!)
