Could you explain the logic of MC75s and CR90s in an Ackbar fleet? Both are fairly easy to double arc with and both are stronger double arcing than just getting the bonus from Ackbar on one broadside. I realise you don't have to broadside with every ship every turn with Ackbar but I'm wondering how often you're actually taking the Ackbar benefit with this kind of fleet? I've tried it and found I wasn't using Ackbar much.
MC75’s are great for leading the charge in a conga line, as the nose is no longer a safe place to hide and pin.
And Jainas is a nice cheap mobile platform to throw 4 dice with trc (or double arc for more at medium) that you can tuck in amongst your fleet for supporting fire

I like this, with your gunnery teams t help Ackbar.
My only advice from playing the MC75 religiously since coming out, relying on Ordnance Pods for your anti-squadron is going to be hard, especially without Early Warning Systems to mitigate 1 die bombers. I think you'd be better served dropping the CR-90 53pts, for both Tycho/Shara 33pts, leaves 20pts which I would spend on another GR-75, and bright hope maybe for the comms net. (Especially as your MC-75 are so tanky as well!)

From experience running this, I usually use EWS, and most of the time i only shoot 1 ship, i use gunnery teams and ordnance pods to do two rounds of flak, ECM is currently loaded because my locals are not using squads. Also I usually have the CR90 sitting on the offside of 1 of the MC75 as title means i shoot unobstructed but i am obstructed being shot at, basically a 2pt EWS for CR90. From experience running this, I have had no issues with running 0 squads. It also repairs a crap ton with engineering token and command.

Madine with 75s makes them really maneuverable and easy to set up the double arcs. I’ve played this list a few times and it’s fun.
Hmm, this is kind of similar:

Although, admittedly this list is more about the MC80. Although, it does set up aspiration with better shields early in the game. Should probably try this list with Madine as well, although Rieekan makes defiance a bear, not to mention Shara.

Madine is my favorite admiral, so I'm a big fan of this fleet. I'm curious, are you typically bidding for first or second player?
I have been playing around with trying to make the MC75 tankier. Here is list I am toying with right now:
Dodonna the tank

- Aspiration ( 3 points)
- Intel Officer ( 7 points)
- Ordnance Experts ( 4 points)
- Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points)
- Assault Proton Torpedoes ( 5 points)
- External Racks ( 3 points)
= 149 total ship cost
MC30c Torpedo Frigate (63 points)
- Admonition ( 8 points)
- Intel Officer ( 7 points)
- Ordnance Experts ( 4 points)
- Assault Proton Torpedoes ( 5 points)
= 87 total ship cost
Modified Pelta-class Assault Ship (56 points)
- Ahsoka Tano ( 2 points)
- Projection Experts ( 6 points)
- Shields to Maximum! ( 6 points)
= 70 total ship cost
GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)

= 27 total ship cost
GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Hondo Ohnaka ( 2 points)
- Comms Net ( 2 points)
= 22 total ship cost
4 A-Wing Squadrons ( 44 points)
= 44 total squadron cost
The theory around this build is for the Pelta to move shields back to the MC75 after Aspiration loads up two hull zones to 6. The low hull zones will be back to normal after the first two rounds, and then the Pelta can use the STM! card in rounds 3-6 to help keep both the MC75 and Admo on the board longer. The Pelta will also stay close to BH so it can help with the squadron flack. I think the MC75 will be very hard to take down with the Pelta backing it up.
Thoughts?

I’ve tried it with Ackbar and it works well, but this looks even meaner with IO on both ships AND dodonna APT’s
I recently made a officer switch to Damage Control Officer (5pts) and ECMs(swapped for EWS) and boy oh boy... it makes this ship a tank!
Its two contains where brought into the fight stoping ACMs, APTs, HIEs etc and with two contains you can really go to work, plus the fact you always have a brace or redirect this ship can survive. I recommend trying Damage Control Officer for all who fly this beast
