The last (*sniff*) sneaky peek of artwork from the Highland expansion has just been uploaded to Talisman Island !
I might have a little something left to post, but we shall see at nearer the weekend!
Enjoy!

Great to see the return of Cyclops from the 2nd Edition Talisman Expansion set. Roc is a new and welcome addition.
Thanks again, Jon. The sneak peeks are always appreciated.
Just posted a little bonus sneak peek over at Talisman Island.

Squinting, squinting, squinting...
6 chars (well, duh)
1 board (dude!)
142 Highland cards (in your face Dungeon with your measly 120 something
)
10 Spell
12 Adventure
4 Relic
3 Alternate Ending (woot, party-time, especially if you know what is in
)
I wonder what for alternative endings we get.
The one on the backside of the box has the eagle king on it...
The board looks pretty good
I suppose it's possible the other two will be the Crown of Command and Danse Macabre, or one of them maybe. Would be nice to have some "official" printed versions. But new stuff's even better
The Highland has 168 small (142 Higlands, 12 Adventure, 10 Spells, 4 Relics) cards the same as Dungeon (128 Dyndeon, 10 Adventure, 20 Spells, 10 Treasures) but in different loactions. It gives a hope that in future expansions would appear more Dungeon cards... Bonus is that Highland include one more character and 3 alt. enging cards and I think it is a good idea. Further expansion should have more stuff than past one to keep high selling level. I can not wait for HQ image of the box back to see the board details cos it looks great.

That would be very cool, if the bonus ending cards are included..
But i assume that it are 3 new ending cards..

It's possible the Highland deck will include a Dungeon Door card, which will add some cross boardness.

I hope that the Harpies are included as a event for the mainboard..( they can send you to the lost city in the mountains)
The Mountain expansion from 3th, has a earth elemental, and if you lose from him, then he takes you to the dungeon vault.
He was in the 2nd edition as well. But as a City card.
I don't think we'll get dungeon door cards or Danse Macabre in this set. I think some (more casual) players would feel cheated if the expansion comes with stuff they can't use (because they don't have the Reaper) and would consider it a cheap ploy to "force" them to buy the Reaper set. Perhaps they could market it as bonus material?
The best bet for a hard copy of Danse Macabre is that FFG might put it in an updated edition of The Reaper expansion. Some of us hardcores (like me) would rush out and buy a new copy just for the ending!
Another possibility is a blender expansion, intended for expansion crossovers. This would be very cool and could provide Dungeon (and trap) doors in other regions, Quest cards relating to expansion boards, endings specific to previous (or multiple) expansions and all sorts of good stuff.
The third possibility is a promo release. These are generally freebies, so they couldn't upset anyone if they require multiple expansions to use.
Now the Crown Of Command ending is not expansion specific, and could well be inluded in the Highlands or any other expansion.
I should say..: Just add DD and COC to a small expansion, and then we have finally get our hands on those official ending cards
They could also add more dangerous events, places or strangers for the dungeon. It's crawling already full of enemies there..
I also want to see the Band of Carrions and the Magic Gateway for the mainboard
I keep my fingers crossed...
