CC Mothma Fleet: Help needed

Hey, all!

I'm having to fill in for a Rebel player that suddenly dropped out of a CC campaign that I'm running.

My experience w/ Rebels is somewhat limited. So I don't even know if Mothma MC30s is still a good list in the current meta. The fleets are starting at 300 points and working up from there. I'm going to post the fleet I'm planning for 400 points and would appreciate any insight or tips.

One note: I will only be able to have 4 Unique cards in this fleet (in addition to the commander) and I can't have Derlin because it's taken by another player.

Help this old Imperial commander to not fail his new Rebel allies. :)

H9s are pretty nice to have, but I don't know where you'd find points for them. Do you really need the 3rd flotilla? If would drop that, you could fit in those H9s and get Tycho and Shara, which gives your squads oh so much more staying power.

I could drop a flotilla to get points for other stuff. Problem is, 5-6 activations is standard in our local meta. And I want to 1st/last - as that's my only chance at taking down whales, I think.

Also, I can only have 4 uniques. So If I had Shara and Tycho I would have to lose Foresight or Admonition.

I'm torn on H9 vs. XI7 due to the proliferation of ECM. I gave H9 to one of my ships so it can hunt Gozantis.

Ahh, I didn't see the one H9 on the other. I usually like XI7s better on most ships, but I just love always having that accuracy with the MC30 for each attack, especially double arcing. Probably a mix of the two is best among your three MC30s, not sure what the best mix would be though.

The limiting to four uniques idea is great. I suppose your A-wings will last much longer if you aren't facing a Ace Swarm. I just get bored of A-wings, and I personally have been looking for other ways to spice up my squadrons, even though I hate playing squadron heavy lists.

That's a bummer you need 6 activations, but if that's the meta, I guess you must do what you must do! In that case my only question is why Mothma on Foresight, and not with Lando on Admo. I suppose Foresight is the stronger of the two with her, I just want all the defense for the Admiral. I guess I'm not sure what's better, but what is your reasoning for your choice?

Inexperience? :)

Not sure if I should charge in with Admo/Lando as the lead to take the beating and then follow up with the other two...or if I should put Lando/Foresight with Mothma for maximum protection of my commander.

I guess Walex makes more since on Admo than on a regular MC30.
