Edited by CcwebbYou can cut the bottom off of a spare large ship peg and affix it to the model. You can then cut the top off of that same peg and affix it to the top of the epic ship stand.

Did this to a busted tie fighter, sadly it dried weirdly so it looks like it is perpetually banking

What I did was break the peg off of the ship and drill a hole the same diameter as the magnet into the ship where the peg was - just deep enough for the magnet to have something more than a flat surface to hold onto - then glue the magnet into the hole with superglue. For the stand/peg, I break off the little triangle at the tip and sand the end as flat and level as possible. I also rough up the surface of the magnet then glue it to the stand/peg. You have to let them sit overnight before using them.I used 1/4" x 1/4" magnets on the ship and 1/4" x 1/16" for the stand/peg. I use the N52 style rare earth magnets which are really strong (K&J Magnetics https://www.kjmagnetics.com/categories.asp). I’m certain that 1/4" x 1/8" magnets would be plenty strong enough for the ship.
Thank you!!!
That's a whole lot of Imperial Pilots!
