Just something small I noticed when I opened my Profundity yesterday. There are 2 chaff tokens! Why do you think this is so? Is it simply a spare piece in case I lose one? From my experience I haven't seen ffg supplying spares for any key component in their products(for those I bought anyway)(not counting all those extra id/objective/victory token overload ofc)

Good thing is that I can now proxy another ship to have EWS without having to use a substitute token

Didn't it come with 2 EWS? And the ISD came with 2 Bulkheads.

I have 3 EWS but only bought 1 of each, so I don't know where the extra EWS came from.

@Muelmuel I'm at work now, but I'm almost positive that I also received 2 tokens and 1 card in my Profundity pack because I remember thinking that it was unusual when I opened it.

That's curious. If indeed the chaff token in the profundity is a spare I would think ffg would do the same and include a spare in the chimera. Seems to not be the case then

Probably someone making up the packing list for the factory copied and pasted from the Chimaera pack, changed the number of cards, and forgot to change the number of tokens.

Or, the original plan was to have 2 EWS cards in both Profundity and Chimaera, but when they changed the packing list to only one EWS for Profundity, they forgot to change EWS markers to one as well.

There are two EWS tokens and one card in the MC75; there are two and two in the Chimaera.

I think I heard somebody say that the cardboard sheet that the EWS tokens come on is identical between the two ships. I didn't particularly notice that when I was tearing my spaceships open, but if it's true, that would be saving them manufacturing costs and would explain the inconsistency.
