Sort of new to buying directly from FFG... I love Genesys and am really interested in Realms in pdf... I assume they plan to release it on pdf like they did the core book. Can anyone tell me about how long it was between hardback release and pdf release? Am I likely to get it sooner preordering the hardback?

It took them about two weeks, which is about how long it took with previous (not Star Wars) Systems.
Two weeks and half the price of the hardcover. So, for me, 150% of the price of the hardcover because I won't have the patience to wait 2 weeks so I'll buy both. The upside is we'll have a hardcopy of the sourcebook at the table, even though I'll only be touching it to physically move it to and from the table once I have the PDF.

Ok, that’s awesome. I had really hoped it would be such a complex system with a really broad scope of possibilities. It seems this is something every character starts with too, which is excellent. I love the concept of Ability Points too.

So - has FFG announced any idea of when we can expect to see Realms of Terrinoth?
And. I know it's a bit early, but does anyone know if there are to be game specific additions to Terrinoth - such as a separate book for:
Runewars or Legacy of Dragonholt or Descent, or Runebound?
I'd just love to see the spellbook for Terrinoth.....

GTM #217 has it listed as April 2018, and since the company behind GTM is Alliance Game Distributors, who are now the exclusive distributor for all Asmodee NA products, I'd be inclined to believe its gonna be mid April. GET HYPE!!

Kinda hoping it's a little sooner. This Friday is the end of week 6 "On the boat". If "Shipping" is two more weeks, that's still end of March.
So that means that GTM is probably accurate as it lists the dates that retailers can expect a distributor to have the product for ordering. I've got a bunch of people here already frothing to move from the SW universe into Terrinoth thanks to a resurgence in Descent sessions thanks to increase IA playerbase.
