I was fooling around with the idea of ‘cheap oddball ships’ when I came up with a 25 point Ezra-pede Elusiveness M9 Weapons engineer build. I was thinking hey, he can either lock enemy ships and make sure his ship won’t get hit, or since he’s a mini shuttle with coordinate why not lock two aces help out their attacks. And since I hate mixing Sequel pilots into otherwise OT-EU lists I chose Wedge and Corran. And I got even weirder with their builds.
Well Wedge with FAA, IA and VI is probably not that weird but check out Horn.
For one thing I’ve got Chopper on Corran! And juke, SD, Siesmic torps, and Targeting scrambler. This should give a 1 point bid for wedge to work with.
So I was thinking that since M9 can give a reroll on both shots Corran doesn’t need FCS as much, and since coordinate is a thing PTL isn’t strictly necessary. This opens up the dial since we are suddenly stress free and might even use those two K-turns that are just taking up that cardboard space. And with a good chance of having an evade token we can use Juke to help out both attacks as long as Corran doesn’t spend it before firing. Slap on SD because it will at least avoid hopefully avoid a bit of damage, and Siesmic torps because he needs something to do when not attacking.
And then I realized that Chopper can only get shields back when discarding upgrades, and you can’t discard what’s already discarded, so I switched to EM, Chimps and AS to guarantee that Juke evade.
well at any rate it’s a strange Horn, and I hope he doesn’t blow. I suppose Targ Scrambler could work and the points you save from Advanced Sensors can go to Plasma Torps for Wedge,
