Are the speeders ready yet? (humor)

"Not yet. We're having some trouble adapting them to the cold..."

my eye is twitching watching all these T47 assembly videos on youtube...

Four out of five of the assembly videos I've watched glued the cannons on upside down.. I'm actually starting to worry that there might be an error in the instructions or the pegs on the cannons are wrong.

Great pick up, I didn't even notice! For those with any doubt, here is a pic from ESB.

The Beasts of War video shows they also put the bottom speed brakes on incorrectly.

I have to say it is kind of disheartening to see these kinds of mistakes on early preview videos.

Spikey Bits did theirs correctly. Here is a picture I took of the speeder.

Yup, his was the 1/5.. lol.

Well in any case, be wary that the pegs probably fit either way. I really appreciate all the YouTube coverage of legion and I am enjoying all the different channel's content. Its just after the third time I noticed this, i couldnt resist a good troll post.. now we really know why the speeders weren't ready yet!

Gotta admit, the light up blasters on the one from the 80's was one of my favorite toys, and why I'm gonna play Rebels now...and I always put the blasters on upside down on that toy...lol

I absolutely love the T-47. Loved it as a kid growing up. It probably surpassed the Millenium Falcon as my favorite vehicle to play with.

Bought a few of the Bandai 1:48 scale Snowspeeders and AT-ST models to use as downed vehicles/possible objectives. They are amazingly detailed and you can view the cockpit on both.

They come with a set of stickers and water set/slide decals so if the scale is close you can detail the FFG T-47 with them

Little tip: If you haven't picked one up can get them along with the 1:48 scale AT-ST at Hobby Lobby. They retail for $29.99 but you can use an on going 40% off coupon and get one for $17.99.

My first thought was that I really liked how this model looked once completed. Whats funny is that my second thought was how am I gonna destroy this thing!!

I plan on picking on up for a terrain piece as well. I didn't think of the decals though, that'll be neat if they work.

No, the original toy had the guns light up. This thing is a ugly hunk of plastic, so yeah, doesn't matter. Trash done wrong - still trash.

Now that Bandai speeder looks pretty good.
