Arquitens List

So im planning to fly this list at the next Regionals. What do you guys think of it? Played the same fleet before with Vader as Commander but he didnt do that much for the Arqs. The question is, do you guys think that Thrawn is more efficient for this Fleet Build? Currently planning on setting 2 CFs, 1 Repair on Thrawn and banking a CF Token in Round 1 and then spamming Nav on the Arqs. Thoughts?

Maybe this Fighterwing is a better alternative to the 4 Aggressor?

If you are not double arcing then DTTs would be better. You get an extra red rather than an extra blue but you don't have to be going slow and slow Arquitens can often end up dead. The chances of not rolling a blank on 5 red dice (with your CF and the extra granted by the DTT) are quite small 30% & 23% so the extra red is almost as good as an extra blue but without speed restrictions.

It is true that running slow with a pack of QBT-Arquitens is less risky than running slow with a single one as you get interlocking fire, protection and if you can get the front arc to fire too the QBTs get you 2 extra blue dice a turn.

Anyway on to the list.

Trade 1 Aggressor to a TIE-I or TIE-Ftr. One Arquitens can bank a squadron token on turn one to get it into action turn 2. Use the saved points for RBDs on the commander's ship and make another CL armed with Needa & TRC.

Thanks for Feedback! The whole point of my objectives is to force the enemy to come at me at a high speed, thus why the Quad Lasers. I might switch Solar Corona for Salavage Run if i use the Lambdas

I'm not convinced this is true once CF is taken into account, as rolling 3 red and 2 blue dice gives a better chance to get accuracy and a lesser chance to get a total whiff compared to 5 reds.

Especially when you bank a CF Token in Round 1, as i plan to do.

So, quick question because I also like using the Arquitens as well, but I am still relatively new to the game. Why use Dual Turbolaser Turrets or Quad Turrets over Enhanced Armament? I understand that DTT has the same effect but if you are using it then you exhaust it on your attack, then if you attack again you dont get the bonus? Or is that not true. If it is true then wouldnt EA be a bit better for that?

Note: I like to make sure that my Arquiten's get close enough that they can fire out of both sides. Maybe I am different when I see the upgrades.

Because Enhanced Armament is more expensive and 4 red dice with no rerolls have about the same results as 3 red dice with 1 reroll (DTT). Blue Dice dont have blanks, so same thing there. Enhanced Armament is only worth in on the Arquitens with Vader as Commander, Intensify Firepower! Fleetcommand, etc

If you don’t want to command squadron I think rogue is better if you do try 8 ties o 4 defenders last one is another threat to your rival and both good way to stop enemy fighters
