Ok lets say i have a CF Command queued up on an Arquitens and i use Thrawn to give all my ships another revealed CF Dial. Can i use the CF Dial of the Arquitens to get a CF Token? Or in other words, does Thrawn allow me to basically get Captain Antilles on all ships for 3 Turns?
Question about Thrawn
Yes. You can turn ship dials into tokens and spend then in conjunction with the Thrawn dial.
but only the ship dial can be tokenized... the Thrawn dial is a dial and remains a dial, never to be tokened...
its just... if that’s all you are using Thrawn for, you are tapping into only a fraction of his potential - tokenizing a redundant ship dial is a backup plan, not a main plan.

You cannot token a Thrawn dial , as it's not revealed by the ship. However , if your ship reveals an identical dial as the flipped Thrawn dial and can't use it (since it can't use two dials) it can turn its own dial into a token , and then use the combo of Thrawn dial and token. So Thrawn isn't like Raymus, so to speak, it's more like he let's your ships dial be like a Raymus. Either way, it's not a super effective use of his ability to go into it planning on just getting the token+dial effect from him.
goddam Dras, by a millisecond.
You can take a token from the ship's CF command then use Thrawn's CF dial that turn and indeed get the Antilles.
But if your ship navigated and Thrawn CF command then you couldn't take both these as a Nav + CF token.

It's like he can sense a rules question as someone is typing the post.
RLB must have been to Dras, what Alderan exploding felt like to Kenobi!
Thanks, i knew that i cant bank the Thrawn Dial as a Token since its already revealed
As always Dras the Rulemaster comes to the rescue first
I know its not super efficient, but i am planning to fly 5 Arqs with Thrawn on the next Regional and really need those Dice Rerolls. Nav and Repair will have Priority on the Arqs, but since i have SFO on two of them i can risc planning a CF Command on those 2.
Currently planning on setting 2 CF Dials and 1 Repair Dial on Thrawn and then spamming Nav on the Arqs. Played the same Fleet with Vader before, but he didnt do THAT much for the Fleet, so im thinking Thrawn might be more useful (and cheaper) on this Fleet?

Edited by >kkjDo you guys think Thrawn is superior to Vader in this Fleet Build?
The reason I mentioned using Thrawn for token+dial on Arquitens being not great is because of how easy to guess where Arquitens will be. They can only move straight, and then hard turn at the end of the tool. If you aren't using Jerjerrod or constant nav dials, they are incredibly easy to dodge and/or block in such a way that I will be able to hurt you far worse than you could hurt me. Thrawn solves that problem by letting you lock 3 Thrawn Nav's and then CF or repair on your dial as needed, and then functionally use both commands. But the re rolls will always be a problem. Only way to effectively make an Arq hit for decent damage is to put Turbolaser Reroutes on it or use Vader so they can spend the contain.
Also, in a completely friendly reminder, you have a rules question and a fleet help question, both of which have their own sub forums patrolled by dedicated nerds just waiting to lend a helping hand. In the future, you will get better responses there
I have one more question, is it legal to place the Fire Lane Tokens on top of each other?

It is.
