So I had a local tournament this weekend and I brought Bossk and Kath in hope to counter Ghost/Fenn list, I ended up 2-2 with mediocre flying. I think if I flew better I could have won an extra game.

Kath - Expertise, Heavy Laser Cannon, Dengar, Engine Upgrade =56

Bossk - Determination, Mangler Cannon, Boba Fett, Greedo, 4-Lom, Burnout SLAM = 44

1st game vs Rey and 2 A-Wings with Snap Shot: Burned down Rey easily in 2 rounds but his A-Wings flanked me againt Kath (good strategy!). Rey and A-Wing with Snap Shot was able to hurt Kath early. In the end, the A-Wings just was able to do death by a thousand cuts to my Bossk who could not reposition in time. I used Burnout SLAM way to early which could have made a difference. He was left with a 1 hull A-Wing before I lost everything. Did not proc Determination at all during this game. Used Boba to remove Finn.

2nd game vs Talonbane, Zuvio, 2 Headhunters with Deadman Switch: Was able to concentrate fire on 1 Headhunter and blew him up first round, which since was flying in formation help add 1 damage to each of his 3 remaining ships. I was able to block Talonbane and made short work of him since he had no tokens/actions. Then I destroyed the second Headhunter and which added another damage to Zuvio. Pretty much game over then, Kath with shields still and Bossk with 4 hull left vs Zuvio. Was able to proc Determination 3 times! Greedo did work on this list! Did not use Boba.

3rd game vs Kanan Ghost/Fen: My list was designed against this squad and I performed poorly. This guy was a good pilot and used the rule of 11 on me. Was able to get in quickly into Bossk which then I could not proc Boba/Greedo on him since I bumped. With Kanan's ability, I was not able to burn through his shields fast enough. I ended up killing Fenn but that left me with a dead Bossk and a wounded Kath which ironically I flew off the board in order to be cute by dodging his TLTs. What a mess! Determination came in effect 2 times but still destroyed by Kanan easily with his 4 dice attack and TLTs. I also suffered Weapons Failure on Bossk which is crazy against Kanan's ability. Sucks!

4th game vs Poe, Wedge, AP5, Rex (TIE): Started off good by destroying Rex before he can proc his ability, then we danced around a bit and I finally destroyed Wedge by some lucky piloting. Kath was untouched and Bossk down to no shields, I did a Burnout SLAM in time and also I proc Determination 2 times this game. Made short work of AP5 and then it was down to Kath and Poe (both full health). Kath's firepower and lucky defensive rolls (stayed in range 3 most of the time) was able to widdle down Poe for the victory. Did not use Boba but could have, I forgot to use him but it didn't matter.

Fun weekend and I hope to either refine this list for future games. Please let me know what you people think! Thanks!

I'm not gonna lie, those are 2 VERY expensive and rather sluggish ships, and I think that is your big issue. Kath is great as is, but Bossk seems kinda light... I would use either a cheaper YV or a couple smaller ships.

Things I have had success flying alongside Kath:

1) Boba Fett.

@Greebwahn - yes, Bossk is sluggish but I find Kath pretty maneuverable for her size, especially with Engine Upgrade (really help get out of tuff situations or reposition my arc). Bossk was my bait ship, hope that they would try to target him first. Determination was in hope to extend his life a little bit when paired with Greedo. If they didn't go for Kath, I had almost a good chance of success. But true, it all depended on Bossk being able to fire and live as long as he can.

@estarriol - in my last league tournament, I did run 2 Firesprays both Kath and Boba. I ran Kath similar to this build but without Engine Upgrade. I had Boba with Fearlessness, Homing Missles, 4-LOM, Slave-1, Guidance Chips and Extra Munitions. I did 3-1 during the tournament but I noticed that Boba was melted down each time (which was good since I want Kath as my late game ship). This build was suppose to try to have a chance againt Ghost/Fenn build but due to poor flying, it did not go as planned.
