Those Nebs look soooo fragile

You mean they dont normally??
I swear ive breathed at them and theyve nearly snapped in half
Those look great, especially all the fighters.
Have they scaled everything relative to the ISD or just the small ships so far?
We count 30 rebel ships Lord Vader, but they're so small they're evading our turbolasers.
Mel's 1/7000 Nebulas, Arquitens, etc. really show how amazing the Armada models could have been.
This stuff looks great. Can you post some more pictures of the fleets? And those squadrons! I thought painting Armada squadrons took patience!
Hi! Yes I will post pictures of both fleets as soon i have time to arange them properly
Outstanding fleet! Can't wait to see more pictures!
Sweet!
Do you have a set of the now defunct Spacerocks?
Those Neb Bs look beautiful!

Yes, those are from Spacerocks
A complete 1/7000 Armada fleet was not something I realized I needed until now... especially intrigued by those squadrons.
Where can I get does small fighters?
This is the perfect scale for this...I don't know why they didn't go with it.
I love it.
I had a link for the small fighters and lost it. Seeing it on the table I know I have to get them. Just too good looking! Same with the Neb's.

Goto Shapeways and search for "1/2256" which is the scale of the smallest star war fighters.
These are nice

Thats the fighters on the pictures. They are very nice indeed! I see they have U Wings now! Yeah, Blue Squadron at Scarif here I come :-)
Anyone else feel like they should have gone with this scale to begin with...it just makes so much more sense....

No because I understand why they didn’t both from a visual and technology standard.

Absolutely; yes.

I'm with Dras... while I can understand the draw of an entirely to-scale force on the tabletop, this isn't meant to be that kind of game. Ships and squadrons need to be large enough to be recognizable (and thus marketable) for casual fans, and inexpensive enough to produce to keep the price point down while remaining profitable.

I think we also like this in the context of the FFG models: if we hadn't had the larger versions first, then the scale models probably would have seemed disappointing. If you got that Arquittens on that base in your off-the-shelf pack, you'd be asking why on earth such a small ship needed such a large footprint, and question the whole size logic of the game. It's only because we have the original Arquittens that we look at that and think "that's awesome, and makes sense to me".
Add to that how fiddly it would be if each time you bought a squadron pack you were dealing with seventy-two tiny models, plus the extra plastic needed to put them on bases... I'm glad this is an option for the community, and I'd sure love some myself, but I think that for the casual gamer, the standard models are just easier to use and more appealing.

Yes! **** them for making it a profitably viable game for a company to produce on a world wide level!...
Oh, um, I mean, um, thanks.
I do wish that they'd gone for a slightly different scaling curve, though. I think the size of the ISD hampers what larger ships are practical to bring to the table. If the math were yay the CR90 was about it's current size and the ISD were about 70% it's current size, I'd be a happier camper.
