I’m a new player and thinking about purchasing B-1 and triple zero in a month or two, is it worth it?
B-1 + 0-0-0 Revevant in Meta?

They're interesting figures, but aren't seeing a ton of play in the meta. A good description is here: http://boardwars.eu/wave-9-villain-pack-bt-1-and-0-0-0/
Highlights for me:
0-0-0 is 8 hp for 4 points, and has a fairly reliable stun, though he's a melee figure with just the droid keyword for command cards. He also has a parlor trick where if you move him someplace and use Invasive Procedure, he seems to be able to focus himself even without having another target.
BT-1 has the coveted Hunter keyword, great with CC's from Jabba's Realm and others. In Imperials, though, you'll only find that with the Grand Inquisitor (an interesting figure with GREAT force user cc's in his pack), or by Temporary-Alliance-ing Mercs into your build ... which can actually get you some great synergy with Onar/Vader (Onar can add even MORE defense, and chewing through his 15 hp means most lists don't have much left to tackle Vader).
The CC's are pretty good -- Shared Experience is a solid Imperial card with Zillo Technique (a meta standard), and Brace for Impact can turn a killing blow into a wounding blow fairly consistently with some practice.
Plus, both models are really fun to paint. And if you scrimmage and need a second C-3P0 figure, you can use 0-0-0 as a stand-in.
they aren't meta but they aren't terrible, BT-1 throws a lot of dice but he has horrible surges and tends to do 4-5 dmg which is low for the dice he rolls, 0-0-0 on the other hand seems rather useful, if you have practice with melee characters then you should be able to make him work.
0-0-0 can work in a few lists. I particularly like him with the AT-DP, ejetsx2, and palp. He's somewhat of a vader defense given he can stun, and his health is decent and his attack is okay.
BT-1's biggest problem is accuracy on the main attack and inconsistency with dice. If you roll lots of damage icons he's good, if you don't, he's bad. With only 10 health, he's a glass canon that doesn't always provide the cannon part.

I've seen BT run with Targeting Computer to make up for dice inconsistency. Problem there is the Empire has a lot of other good upgrades, and you probably don't want to take a computer before Zillo and Rule By Fear. I've also seen BT run with Palp and ATDP recently -- gives you a second reason to include heavy weapons cards, and BT can surge-recover the damage from Tempt, giving you a clear use of that power on round 1, before the Emperor starts trying to pick off weak figures with it. You get some fun synergy with unmitigated damage from collateral damage, too.
BT-1 honestly fits more in merc lists as long as you run an eJawa, as he can make use of your hunter cards. Still those points would be better served elsewhere.
Edited by migueljAnother BT reality is that (especially with urgency or marksman help), he can clear a box halfway decently with Missile Salvo, especially if you're running things like Assassinate, Positioning Advantage, and Collateral Damage. Getting off blast on multiple targets huddled together in one activation can be a splashy surprise for an unsuspecting opponent, especially since hunter-meta stuff usually works to maximize a single attack. Ballistics Matrix is almost worth taking, for either single shot or box work. You can always toss it with Zillo if he dies, right?
